Dressing Professionally During Cold Winter Days

The weather has been changing the past few days and it's getting colder. We all know how it is in the winter, the second it gets cold all we want to do is wear a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie. This week I will be your guide in helping you stay warm while looking professional.

1- Add a long sleeve top under your shirts/dresses

You want to be as warm as possible right? Well this is a great trick to achieve that. Plus, you are able to take your fall dresses and wear the in the winter while staying warm.

Even for your button shifts. Buy a v-neck long sleeve top and wear that under your button shirt and no one will notice it.

2- Fleece Leggings

If you live in a place where the winters are cold then you need fleece leggings. These have been all over my TikTok and they are perfect for keeping you warm. They are great for wearing underneath any pair of pants and skirts.

If you are going to wear a skirt over them, I suggest to buy a pair of beige fleece leggings and adding a pair of black sheer nylons over them. This will make it hard for people to notice the leggings underneath.

3- Puffers

Puffers are great for keeping you warm. If you still want to keep a high level of professionalism, then I suggest going with a longer puffer jacket like this one from H&M:

4- Choose the Right Footw

In the winter, it can be a struggle to find a nice pair of boots. I personally hate winter boots and will do everything in my power to not wear them. These are my suggestions:

- If you're going to wear a dressy boot made for the fall, wear 2 pairs of socks.

- Buy a waterproof spray for your boots/shoes to help keep your feet dry in the snow.
